Compensation Debate In Parliament This Tuesday

The Rt Hon Cheryl Gillan MP has succeeded in getting an adjournment debate this Tuesday, October 21st, to discuss the need for fair compensation for households and communities impacted by HS2.

The Government has undertaken six consultations, lost a court case and still can’t get this issue right. HS2AA is asking people on the route of Phase 1 or Phase 2 of the line to encourage their MPs to attend Tuesday’s debate.

The Government will be represented by the Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Robert Goodwill MP. If this is an issue you feel strongly about, be sure to drop him a note before Tuesday at robert.goodwill.mp@parliament.uk
