HS2 Not Going All That Well

Despite the House of Commons approval stage is now done, over £1 billion has been spent and remorseless spin from Downing Street and the Department for Transport, HS2 refuses to follow the script.

The Chief Secretary to the Cabinet, Sir Jeremy Heywood is investigating the costs of HS2 and today press coverage suggests that the project could be taken away from the Department for Transport and not reach Manchester.
